About us |
|
We’re a small, family run holiday provider, with two, newly built, fully furnished cottages. The cottages are semi-detached and have been constructed mainly using local craftsmen and materials. The cottages have hardwood windows, oak front doors and all furniture is solid oak or ash. Having stayed in a wide variety of self-catering cottages and barns over the years, we’ve tried to provide the best of the best… we hope you enjoy your stay.
News - October 2007 The cottages were featured in the October edition of the Breckland Society monthly newsletter as an example of new cottages built sympathetically within a conservation area. News - February 2008 The cottages have received a commendation in the Kings Lynn and West Norfolk design in the built environment awards, for the sympathetic way in which they blend into the local environment. News - April 2008 A roaring start to the 2008 holiday season as the cottages are booked solid for several weeks and receive regular compliments from visitors. See the visitor’s book for details! News - November 2008 Excitement around the impending visit of our VisitBritain inspector to grade the cottages…. Success! - we achieved the 4-star rating we were looking for, and the inspector was very complimentary about the standard of accommodation. There’s still some availability for Christmas - contact us now! News - May 2009 The 2009 holiday season is off to a cracking start with both cottages full over Easter. Having had the village shop and Post Office close earlier in the year, the shop has re-opened under new management and they are hoping to re-open the Post Office. Northwold Carnival - June 13th with floats and a fly past by the Red Arrows (weather permitting)… an event not to be missed! |
