Buttercup and Daisy are located within the Conservation area of the village of Northwold, in West Norfolk.

Northwold also has a newly refurbished recreation ground as well as walks across Northwold Common, accessible within 200 yards of the cottages. The village of Whittington is approx. 3-miles away and has a petrol station with a mini market (including off-license). The village of Mundford is within 4-miles and has a butchers/mini market, Post Office/shop, The Crown Pub, and a hair dressers. Days out on the North Norfolk Coast are within easy reach, as are the City of Norwich and Great Yarmouth on the East Coast.
